As some Landlords have found to their cost, there are many other issues which can affect our ownership and rental of a property which do not necessarily have anything to do with how we run the Tenancy. Situations may arise, through no fault of our own which may end up costing a great deal of money either through inadequate insurance or unintentional negligence.

As part of our initial survey on a new rental or upon request we can advise you of areas where you should take extra precautions in case of what might happen. This also includes our Party Wall Services where a third party undertakes any works adjacent to your property and hasn't properly advised you or taken the required steps to ensure your property is protected.  

We have had situations where neighbours have, without thinking, almost undermined the foundations of an adjacent property or left them exposed to the elements for an excessive period of time or have planted high water demand vegetation so close to an adjacent wall that the end result is, in both cases, that major movement occurs to the neighbouring structure making it uninhabitable in the worst case whilst repairs are carried out.
